• To educate members the importance of hospitality.
• To educate members excellent food etiquettes.
• To activate members in this department by other methods (cooking competitions etc.)
• To keep record of all approved expenses related to this department at Lajna events & functions.

January – March | National Cooking Competition – Rules and details to be provided later. – Organise at local Halqa and Majlis level.Food Hygiene – Preparing food hygienically. – Sharing articles on proper methods to wash hands for food preparation and serving |
April – June | Ramadhan – Sharing Iftaar Recipes. – Organise Majlis Lajna/Nasirat Iftaar.Hospitality To provide Lajna with table manner settings and high tea settings so that our young girls can learn the basics of hosting dinners and events. – Organise tea/lunch and teach table setting. – Share articles on blessings of hospitality. |
July – September | Cleanliness To promote the importance of cleanliness. Promote cleanliness in homes so that their children can learn importance of cleanliness. Teaching cleanliness at home so this can be reflected in larger Jamaat events. – Share Islamic important of cleanliness – Share articles on how to keep kitchen clean – Discuss cleaning after eating in Jamaat events, such as Jalsa and Ijtema.
